Old Growth Og
Old Growth OG is an indica-dominant hybrid from Humboldt Seed Company, created by crossing [[chemdog|Chemdog]] and [[og-kush|OG Kush]] to honor the activists involved in Humboldt’s forest-defense movement.
About Old Growth Og
Old Growth OG is a tribute to the environmentalists dedicated to preserving Humboldt County’s redwood forests. Developed by Humboldt Seed Company, the strain is a cross between Chemdog and OG Kush. Its flavor profile is defined by a heavy fuel base, complemented by sharp lemon and pine notes. The experience is rounded out by hints of pepper, woody herbs, and a subtle floral finish, resulting in an earthy, chemical-forward aroma. Users report an initial uplifted, often giggly mood that facilitates conversation, which eventually transitions into a hazy, physically relaxing state that may lead to sleepiness.
Plant characteristics
The plants are noted for significant flowering stretch, characterized by flexible branches and increased spacing between nodes. The flowers typically develop into large, spade-shaped buds featuring blue-green hues, bright orange pistils, and a dense coating of trichomes.
