Purple Diamond
Purple Diamond is a hybrid strain produced by RedEye Genetics through a cross of [[mt-rainier|Mt. Rainier]] and [[mendocino-purps|Mendocino Purps]], known for its deep purple coloration and balanced effects.
About Purple Diamond
Purple Diamond is a hybrid strain from RedEye Genetics, created by crossing a Mt. Rainier male with Mendocino Purps. This pairing results in a balanced hybrid that retains both indica and sativa characteristics. The strain is noted for its potency and flavor profile, which is often described as berry-forward. Nevada-based cultivator Kynd describes their specific batch as fruit-forward and gassy, with reported effects that are both soothing and uplifting.
A separate strain also named Purple Diamond was developed by Diamond Rock Genetics. This version features a distinct lineage, created by crossing Twisted Diamond with Purple Punch.
Plant characteristics
The RedEye Genetics version of Purple Diamond is characterized by striking purple shades and heavy trichome coverage.
