Purple Fuel
Purple Fuel is a name shared by two distinct hybrid lineages, each offering a different profile: one a modern, candy-leaning boutique blend and the other a classic, heavy-hitting diesel cross.
About Purple Fuel
Purple Fuel appears in two high-octane variations. The first is a boutique, indica-forward hybrid derived from Tropical Runtz, Bakers Dozen, and Biscotti. This version is noted for its candy-like sweetness balanced by sharp, fuel-forward notes. Users report an initial bright and talkative onset that transitions into a heavier finish.
The second iteration is an old-school hybrid cross of Sour Diesel and Pre-’98 Bubba Kush. This variant features a profile dominated by myrcene, caryophyllene, and pinene, resulting in a pine-and-hash flavor that lingers on the palate. It is described as a grounding, weighty experience that lacks the sweetness of the boutique version, often characterized by a heavy, abrupt finish.
Plant characteristics
The boutique version is characterized by violet-hued foliage and sticky resin production. The old-school variant is noted for its sharp, cerebral diesel qualities tempered by the heavy, grounding influence of the Bubba Kush lineage.
