The version most commonly found in dispensaries, often labeled as Rainbow RZ, was bred by the Los Angeles-based Wizard Trees and is a cross of Runtz and RS11.
Other iterations include a widely cited but breeder-unconfirmed cross of Zkittlez and Do-Si-Dos. A third version was bred by Chosen Seeds in London, utilizing their Rainbow Candy (a cross of Zkittlez, Do-Si-Dos, and Zkittlez) crossed with Gelato #41. Finally, Exotic Genetix in Tacoma, Washington, produced a version by crossing Rainbow Chip with Runtz.
