Saturn OG
Saturn OG is an indica-dominant hybrid released by Maven Genetics, noted for its high THC content and a transition from initial cerebral energy to heavy physical relaxation.
About Saturn OG
Saturn OG was released by Maven Genetics, who selected the strain by crossing two unknown OG Kush strains. It is part of a planetary-themed family alongside Earth OG and Jupiter OG, all of which are recognized for potent, relaxing effects. The aroma is pungent, blending notes of pepper, lemon, pine, and diesel, while the flavor profile is characterized by earth and mint with a light diesel finish.
Users report an immediate energetic boost that promotes talkativeness and social activity. This initial phase eventually transitions into a period of deep relaxation and rest. Some consumers compare this progression to the rush and subsequent heavy relaxation experienced after dabbing high-potency concentrates. Reported THC levels for this strain frequently exceed 30%.
Plant characteristics
The plants are medium-sized with hardy stalks and bushy foliage. The flowers are dense and dark green, featuring orange-red hairs and a heavy coating of milky amber trichomes. Indoors, the strain flowers in 56 to 63 days; outdoor harvests typically occur in early October.
