SFZ (or SF-Z) is a hybrid cross of [[sfv-og|SFV OG]] and [[the-original-z|Original Z]], created by Dying Breed Seeds in Northern California’s Emerald Triangle.

SFZ combines the funk of SFV OG with the bright, fruity profile of Original Z. The abbreviated name serves as a shorthand for its parentage, a pairing that has also been distributed by Sherbinskis. Its flavor profile is complex, featuring sharp lemon and lime notes cut by earthy pepper and a wine-like quality reminiscent of Zinfandel. These fruit-forward notes are complemented by hints of rose oil and a floral undertone, all grounded by a persistent, dank musk. Users report a warm onset that spreads from the face into a weighty body high, often leading to calm and sleepiness, making it a common choice for winding down.
Plant characteristics
The buds form compact, spade-shaped clusters, mixing bright and deep greens with occasional red and purple accents. Fine amber-colored pistils thread through the flowers, which are covered in a crystalline coating. The plant is reported to have a medium stature with a flowering stretch of 1.5 to 2 times its vegetative height, featuring close internode spacing and tightly stacked flowers. Provisional flowering time is estimated at 56–63 days.
