About Smarties
Smarties, also known as Smartiez or The Smarties, is a hybrid cultivar created by Kush4Breakfast by crossing Blue City Diesel and GSC. The strain is noted for a complex aromatic profile reminiscent of a candy shop, featuring layers of berry, cherry, grape, and citrus balanced by an earthy, diesel-tinged base. On the palate, it presents a sweet-tart fruit flavor profile that transitions into a bright citrus snap, concluding with a peppery, cookie-like finish.
Reported effects typically begin with a tingly, euphoric onset that often encourages sociability and laughter, eventually mellowing into a relaxed body buzz. Some users also report a sense of creative focus, making it a versatile choice for afternoon or evening use.
Plant characteristics
The plant produces rounded, resin-dense buds characterized by a dark olive green coloration, accented by long orange pistils and occasional flashes of purple. The foliage features bright yellow-green fan leaves, and the buds may develop deep purple hues if exposed to cooler temperatures during the final stages of the 9- to 10-week flowering cycle. Indoors, plants remain compact, typically reaching heights under 30 inches, while outdoor specimens can stretch between 30 and 60 inches.
