Sonic Boom
Sonic Boom is a name shared by two distinct breeders, Irie Genetics and Sonic-Seeds, resulting in two genetically unrelated strains: a citrus-forward sativa-leaning hybrid from Colorado and a pineapple-skunk balanced hybrid from the UK.
About Sonic Boom
### Irie Genetics Version Selected by Rasta Jeff, this iteration is a sativa-leaning hybrid that crosses Lemon OG Haze with Arise (a cross of Golden Goat and Daybreaker). The terpene profile is characterized by limonene, myrcene, and caryophyllene, producing aromas of lemon-lime, grapefruit, and a faint fuel edge. Users report clean focus, creative lift, and long-lasting effects without body drag. This version typically tests between 25-30% THC.
### Sonic-Seeds Version This UK-based selection is a more balanced hybrid created by crossing UK Pineapple (a lineage of Skunk #1 and Alaskan Skunk) with Pursang Haze. The flavor profile features pineapple and orange notes layered over an earthy haze finish. Reported effects begin with an upbeat energy that transitions into a dreamy, calm state. This version is primarily found in the UK and underground markets.
Plant characteristics
The Irie Genetics version features sturdy lateral branching and heavy yield potential, with a flowering period of 63-72 days. The Sonic-Seeds version has a flowering time of approximately 67 days.
