Sour Animal

Seed Junky Genetics created Sour Animal by crossing Sour Diesel with Animal Cookies BX2, blending East Coast fuel with California dessert genetics. The lineage of Sour Diesel traces back to Chemdog 91 and Super Skunk, contributing a jet-fuel tang and an energetic, clear-headed quality. Animal Cookies BX2, refined through two backcrosses, provides a foundation rooted in GSC and Fire OG, adding resin production, physical weight, and a sugary, cookie-like sweetness.

The terpene profile is driven by caryophyllene, limonene, and myrcene, resulting in an aroma of diesel volatility, citrus zest, sour fruit, and a soft cookie sweetness. Users report a dual experience: an initial euphoric, fast-acting onset that transitions into a grounded, steady calm. The strain is noted for its utility in extraction; Brindle Farms has selected cuts for bubble hash, and Green Dot Labs has featured the strain in their solventless lineup for its fuel and animal-cracker flavor profile.
