Released by the Mendocino-based Dying Breed Seeds—a collective led by Shiloh Massive and the 3rd Gen Family—Sour Gak is a deliberate stacking of old-school genetics. It is a cross between Mystery Sour, a proprietary cut with Sour Diesel lineage, and GAK, a blend of G13 and AK-47.

On the nose, the strain presents sour citrus peel and diesel fuel, followed by a peppery, skunky finish. Users report a clear-headed and euphoric onset, characterized by creative, focused energy that eventually transitions into full-body relaxation. It is frequently described as uplifting without being racy.
