StarKiller OG
StarKiller OG is a highly decorated hybrid created by Rare Dankness, recognized for its potent THC levels and a complex flavor profile of lemon, diesel, and pine.
About StarKiller OG
Created in 2012 by Scott “Moonshine” Reach of the Colorado seed bank Rare Dankness, StarKiller OG (also known as Star Killer) was developed by pollinating a Skywalker OG clone from Denver’s Hartland Farmacy with a Rare Dankness #2 male. The Rare Dankness #2 male is a hybrid resulting from a back-cross of Rugburn OG with its Ghost OG mother.
The strain has earned over 50 global awards, including 3rd place for Medical Hybrid and 2nd place for Colorado Hybrid at the 2016 High Times Cannabis Cup. Reach reports that the strain typically tests at over 23% THC. Users often describe a sensory profile featuring bright lemon and diesel aromas, transitioning into sweet citrus and earthy pine notes. Reported effects include deep relaxation that progresses into a sleepy euphoria; notably, the strain is frequently cited by combat veterans for its perceived ability to help manage symptoms of anxiety and PTSD.
Plant characteristics
The plants produce medium-to-high yields of dense, purple-hued buds that are heavily coated in trichomes. The flowers are noted for a distinct lemon candy flavor profile.
