Strawberry Gas
Strawberry Gas is a hybrid name applied to at least two genetically distinct cultivars, resulting in significant variation in lineage and product availability depending on the producer.
About Strawberry Gas
The name Strawberry Gas is currently used for two unrelated crosses, making it essential to verify the producer before purchase. The first version, primarily found in California as a live resin, live sauce, or vape product, is a cross of Strawberry Jack and Leeroy OG. This iteration is often associated with Raw Garden—though Jungle Boys carries the product without being its breeder or cultivator—and is characterized by a profile of fruit, gas, and citrus.
A second, genetically distinct version is sold as flower by brands such as In Good Health and Viola. This variant is a cross of Strawberry Headband and Gas Mask. It is frequently described as sativa-dominant, offering a flavor profile that balances sweet berry and citrus notes with a prominent diesel finish. Because these two versions share no common lineage, the experience and chemical profile can differ significantly between them.
Plant characteristics
The plant typically reaches a height of 3–4 feet when grown indoors, while outdoor specimens can stretch to 5–6 feet. It develops dense, resinous colas that require adequate airflow. The flowering period lasts approximately 8–9 weeks, with indoor yields ranging from 350–450 g/m² and outdoor yields between 14–18 oz per plant. Outdoor harvests generally occur in mid-to-late October.
