About Tarts
Tarts is an indica-leaning hybrid strain from Washington-based cultivator Exotic Genetix. It is a cross between Wojo Mints—a phenotype of the Cream d'Mint strain—and Grease Monkey. The latter parentage is a cross between GG4 and Cookies N' Cream.
The strain is noted for an aroma dominated by fruit, specifically bright notes of orange and lemon, balanced by gassy undertones inherited from its Grease Monkey lineage. The flavor profile mirrors this, with tart citrus taking center stage, occasionally accompanied by a faint gasoline finish. Users report that the experience typically involves a tingly sense of euphoria that encourages creativity before transitioning into a state of relaxed uplift.
Plant characteristics
The buds of Tarts are characterized by a dark green coloration accented by deep purple undertones. The flower is covered in bright orange pistils and a dense coating of white crystal trichomes, giving the surface a fuzzy, shimmering appearance.
