Twisted Velvet
Twisted Velvet is an indica-leaning hybrid created by In House Genetics by crossing [[velvet-cookies|Velvet Cookies]] and [[purple-hulk|Purple Hulk]], noted for its berry-and-bakery flavor profile and variable purple coloration.
About Twisted Velvet
Twisted Velvet pairs the genetics of Velvet Cookies and Purple Hulk. While the breeder classifies the strain as an indica, some descriptions categorize it as a hybrid. The aroma is led by blueberry and grape, with earthy depth and floral spice. The flavor profile incorporates a nutty cookie note, resulting in a sweet, fruit-forward start with an earthy finish. Reported effects typically begin with a euphoric lift before transitioning into physical relaxation. The strain has been used in further breeding, appearing in the lineage of Velvet Breath, Velvet Skies, and Twisted Pie.
Plant characteristics
Flowers range from elongated forest-green buds to darker purple expressions, threaded with orange pistils and coated in pale trichomes. Phenotypic variation in color and structure is common, and the strain has an approximate flowering period of 60 days.
