Velvet Kush

Velvet Kush was created by Clone Only Strains by crossing DJ Short’s Blue Velvet with OG Kush. Its genetic lineage is reported to incorporate influences from Thai, Afghani, and Hindu Kush landraces. The strain is named for its reported smoothness, with users noting a lack of harshness during inhalation and a gentle, calming effect. Its aromatic profile is described as a potent mix of dark fruit and ripe grapes, underscored by traditional kush characteristics, skunk, and fuel.

There is some ambiguity regarding the name in the marketplace; it is sometimes confused with its descendant, a cross between Velvet Kush and Silver Kush known as Silver Velvet Kush, which is occasionally sold under the Velvet Kush label. It is also distinct from Velvet Krush, which is a descendant of DJ Short’s Blue Moonshine.
