Wedding Sunset
Wedding Sunset is an indica-leaning hybrid that exists in two distinct versions, both rooted in the dessert-heavy lineage of [[wedding-cake|Wedding Cake]].
About Wedding Sunset
Wedding Sunset represents a partnership of genetics, though two distinct versions circulate in the wild.
### The Original Cut This version is a cross between Wedding Cake and Sunset Sherbet. It is characterized by a creamy, dessert-forward flavor profile featuring vanilla and berry notes with a tart citrus finish. The aroma is described as a blend of sweetness, fruit, and gas. Users report a gradual onset of euphoria that begins behind the eyes before transitioning into a calm, sedative body high, making it a choice for evening relaxation.
### The Seed Junky Genetics Cut This iteration, selected by Seed Junky Genetics, pairs Wedding Cake with Sherb Crasher. This version shifts the flavor profile toward a nuttier, more complex experience, highlighting cookie dough, lemon zest, and earthy spice. The aroma retains a sweet, nutty quality with a sour diesel undertone. The effects are noted as being more functional and social, providing an initial mental lift that eventually settles into a syrupy, steady body relaxation.
Plant characteristics
The original cut of Wedding Sunset produces dense, conical buds. The foliage is a dark forest-green, often displaying purple hues, and the flowers are covered in a layer of shimmering amber trichomes.
