White Gold
White Gold is a name shared by three distinct hybrid cultivars developed by different breeders, each utilizing unique genetic lineages.
About White Gold
The name White Gold is applied to several unrelated strains, leading to significant variation in genetics and profiles depending on the breeder.
Expert Seeds created their version of White Gold by crossing Grapefruit (a phenotype of Cinderella 99) with Ice. This iteration is reported to feature a citrus flavor profile with an aroma reminiscent of lemony hash, with THC levels averaging around 20%.
Sensi Seeds, through their White Label line, created a version of White Gold by crossing White Widow and Himalayan Gold. This variety is noted for its tropical fruit flavor and a pleasant, fruity aroma.
Archive Seed Bank offers a third version of White Gold, bred by crossing Biscotti (a combination of a Gelato phenotype, Girl Scout Cookies, and GG#4) with Do-Si-Dos (a cross of OG Kush Breath and Face Off OG). This selection is characterized by a sweet, vanilla flavor profile and high levels of THC.
Plant characteristics
The Expert Seeds version grows into tall, lean plants that flower in seven weeks indoors or by mid-September outdoors, producing long, dense, pale green buds with curly orange pistils and a coating of white trichomes. The Sensi Seeds White Label version produces squat, average-sized plants with a large central cola, flowering in about eight weeks. These plants feature dense light- and dark-green buds with orange pistils and high resin production; they may develop purple leaves if exposed to cooler temperatures late in the season. The Archive Seed Bank version is a stable hybrid that flowers in nine weeks indoors or by mid-October outdoors.
