Alpha Runtz

The name Alpha Runtz refers to two separate breeding projects. One version, bred by Emjay, is a hybrid created by crossing Runtz with Alpha Express. This iteration is noted for a balanced profile featuring tropical fruit flavors accented by herbal and diesel undertones.

A second version, cultivated by Local Grove in Michigan, is a cross of Zkittlez and Gelato. This selection is described as having a smooth smoke with a complex flavor profile of fruity, earthy, and pungent notes. The breeder notes that the effects can lean toward either indica or sativa characteristics depending on the specific phenotype. Users generally report a cheerful, giggly onset that transitions into a mellow state of relaxation without inducing heavy sedation, often highlighting bright notes of blueberry and lemon paired with a diesel finish.
