Burnout
Burnout is a name shared by multiple distinct, unrelated cannabis cultivars, most notably a hybrid from Fresh Coast Seed Company and the complex Burnout OG by Growing Pains.
About Burnout
The name Burnout is applied to several genetically unrelated lines, requiring careful attention to breeder and lineage information to identify the specific cultivar. One version, bred by Fresh Coast Seed Company, originates from a cross of Kid Dynamite and Garlic Icing; specific details regarding its terpene profile, potency, and effects remain undocumented. A second, distinct cultivar known as Burnout OG was created by Growing Pains by crossing Cherry Pie, GSC, and Biker Kush. This version is characterized by a pungent gas and diesel aroma, complemented by notes of cookies and earthy kush. Users report that Burnout OG typically begins with a euphoric onset before transitioning into heavy relaxation, physical fatigue, and couch-lock, making it a common choice for evening use. Other variants, such as Burnout Chem, Burnout Cookies, and Burnout #33, represent entirely separate genetic lineages.
Plant characteristics
The Garlic Icing and Cookies genetics present in these lineages generally produce a dense, resin-heavy bud structure.
