THE DISPENSE STRAIN GUIDE

Cherry Noir

hybrid

Cherry Noir is a hybrid strain bred by Mean Gene at Aficionado Seed Collection, known for balancing sweet fruit notes with the sharp, pungent profile of Chemdawg.

About Cherry Noir

Cherry Noir is a hybrid cultivar developed by Mean Gene at Aficionado Seed Collection. Its genetic lineage is a cross between Cherry Lime (#4) and a 2013 selection of Chemdawg curated by Leo Stone. The strain is characterized by a complex flavor profile that blends the sweetness of cherry jam with citrus and melon, underscored by the distinct, sharp terpene profile associated with Chemdawg. Laboratory analysis indicates that linalool, humulene, and pinene are the dominant terpenes. Aficionado Seed Collection has utilized Cherry Noir as a foundation for subsequent breeding projects, including Portofino, Rumcakez, and Trufflez.

Reported experiences suggest a two-stage effect: users often note an initial surge of mental energy and sociability, which gradually transitions into a state of physical relaxation. Some individuals report using the strain to manage symptoms of depression, stress, chronic fatigue, headaches, and migraines.
