Trufflez
Trufflez is an indica-dominant hybrid recognized for its complex, dessert-like flavor profile and reported euphoric effects. The name is currently associated with two distinct genetic lineages originating from different breeders.
About Trufflez
There are two primary strains circulating under the name Trufflez. The version bred by the California-based Aficionado Seed Company is an indica-dominant hybrid created by crossing Zkittlez and Cherry Noir with White Cherry Trufflez. This iteration is noted for a flavor profile reminiscent of a box of assorted chocolates, featuring distinct notes of butter, salted caramel, creamy cheese, berries, and diesel. The aroma is similarly complex, incorporating hints of cherry, orange, lavender, and toffee. Users report that the experience typically begins with an elevated mood and a tingly, euphoric body buzz.
A second, distinct lineage of Trufflez is produced by Local Grove in Michigan. This version is an indica-dominant cross of Jet Fuel Gelato and Runtz. This specific selection gained recognition after placing second at the 2021 Michigan People's Choice Cannabis Cup.
Plant characteristics
The Aficionado Seed Company selection of Trufflez produces chunky buds characterized by a color palette of bright greens, soft pinks, and deep purples. The flowers are covered in a thick layer of crystal trichomes and feature long, prominent orange pistils.
