Frosted Cake
Frosted Cake is an indica-leaning hybrid from Jungle Boys, recognized for its heavy trichome coverage and a sweet, dessert-forward flavor profile with subtle diesel and cheese undertones.
About Frosted Cake
Frosted Cake, also known as Frosted Cakes, is a hybrid strain selected by the breeders at Jungle Boys. It is the result of a cross between Jungle Cake and Strawberry Shortcake. Its complex lineage includes ancestral ties to Wedding Cake, Juliet, and Strawberry Diesel. The strain has also been used in further breeding, specifically backcrossed with Jungle Cake to create the variety known as Frosted Jungle.
The terpene profile is dominated by myrcene, caryophyllene, and linalool, which produce a sweet flavor profile accented by faint notes of cheese and diesel. Users typically report effects that align with indica-dominant varieties, often describing sensations of euphoria and relaxation that lead to eventual sedation.
Plant characteristics
The nugs of this strain are typically heavily iced in trichomes.
