Gelato Pop
Gelato Pop is an indica-dominant hybrid known for its dessert-inspired flavor profiles, though the strain encompasses two distinct genetic lineages depending on the breeder.
About Gelato Pop
There are two distinct versions of Gelato Pop. The iteration from Seed Junky Genetics is an indica-dominant hybrid created by crossing Purple Push Pop with Gelato #41 and an Animal Mints BX1 cut. This version is characterized by a sweet flavor profile reminiscent of vanilla gelato, accented by citrus and mint. Users report that this strain often induces feelings of euphoria and happiness, transitioning into a state of calm that some find useful for managing stress, anxiety, or chronic pain.
A separate version of Gelato Pop is attributed to the California-based breeder ThePotShop. This variant is a cross between Gelato and Triangle Kush. It offers a different aromatic profile, blending sweetness with spicy, fruity, and earthy herbal notes.
Plant characteristics
The version of Gelato Pop bred by ThePotShop features forest-green buds covered in vivid orange hairs and a frosty layer of trichomes, creating a sparkling appearance.
