Power

The name Power is applied to at least two distinct genetic lineages, leading to frequent confusion with other similarly named strains like Power Plant and Power Flower. One version, selected by Exotic Genetix, is an indica-dominant hybrid created by crossing the balanced Gary Peyton with the indica-leaning Scotty 2 Hotty. A separate iteration, attributed to the breeder Clone Only Strains, is derived from a cross between SoCal Master Kush and Sour Dubble.

Regardless of the specific breeder, the strain is widely recognized for its high THC content, making it a cultivar typically reserved for experienced consumers. The aromatic profile is dominated by pungent diesel notes, which transition into a sweet, hash-like flavor upon combustion, a profile attributed to a terpene profile rich in myrcene and pinene. Reported effects generally begin with a hazy sense of euphoria before transitioning into a gradual, soothing indica-style body high. Users often note that excessive consumption leads to heavy sedation and couch-lock.
