About Purple Chemdawg
Purple Chemdawg is an indica-dominant hybrid resulting from a cross between Granddaddy Purple and Chemdog. The original breeder of this specific combination remains unknown. It is frequently confused with Purple Chem, a distinct strain from The Cali Connection. The aroma is characterized by pungent chemicals and sweet grapes, while the flavor profile includes notes of skunk, chemicals, lemons, and sweet grapes. Reported effects typically begin with a euphoric lift that transitions into deep physical relaxation, often leading users to reserve it for evening use.
Plant characteristics
The plants are medium-sized with a structure influenced by their mixed heritage. They are noted for their resilience against common pests and environmental stressors. When exposed to cooler temperatures during the final stages of the flowering cycle, the plants often develop distinct purple hues. Indoors, the flowering period typically ranges from 49 to 63 days, with outdoor harvests occurring in late September. The strain is recognized for its potential to produce high yields under optimal conditions.
