Purple Reign

The name Purple Reign is currently used by three separate breeding operations, each resulting in a different genetic profile. The most prevalent version is an indica-dominant hybrid from Ethos Genetics, which combines Recon OG with Royal Purple Kush. This selection is noted for its dense, dark-colored flowers and a terpene profile characterized by sweet berries, citrus, and spicy herbs. Users typically describe the experience as potent and physically relaxing, often suggesting it for evening use.

A second iteration was created by G2G Genetix as a tribute to the musician Prince. This hybrid was produced by crossing Good Dog with a cross of Pineapple Express and an unidentified parent plant.

A third version, produced by The Bank Genetics, is an indica-leaning hybrid that crosses Purple Urkle with Fall ‘97. This specific cross is recognized for producing flowers with deep, intense purple coloration.
