Royal Moby
Royal Moby is a hybrid from Royal Queen Seeds, created by crossing [[haze|Haze]] and [[white-widow|White Widow]]. It serves as a Dutch-influenced interpretation of the Spanish [[moby-dick|Moby Dick]] tradition, known for its citrus-herbal profile and a cerebral, potentially stoney, high.
About Royal Moby
Royal Moby is Royal Queen Seeds' specific take on the Moby Dick lineage. By crossing Haze with White Widow, the breeder offers a Dutch-influenced version of the classic Spanish hybrid. The flavor profile is led by sweet lemon and floral Haze notes, transitioning into earthy herbs with a peppery finish. A subtle blueberry undertone is sometimes present, providing a fruity contrast to the sharper citrus and spice. Reported experiences are varied; while many describe an upbeat, cerebral effect that encourages alertness and enthusiasm for daily tasks, others find the experience distinctly stoney, occasionally leading to a sleepier finish.
Plant characteristics
The plant produces bright emerald-green buds that form dense, rounded hearts. These are covered in a pale crystalline coating and accented by fluffy orange pistils. While some selections may exhibit purple hues, a heavy layer of resin is the most consistent visual trait, particularly around the orange hairs. The plant is known for significant vertical growth, with indoor heights reaching 80–140 cm and outdoor specimens potentially stretching to 200–300 cm. It features long branches and a tendency to continue stretching during its 9–10 week flowering period.
