Shaved Ice
Shaved Ice is a name shared by two distinct hybrid lines, each offering a different take on fruit-forward, resinous profiles: one rooted in Sherbet and OG genetics, the other in modern candy-gas lineages.
About Shaved Ice
The name Shaved Ice refers to at least two separate breeding projects that converge on a theme of sugary, frosty, and fruit-heavy profiles.
Cannarado Genetics selected a version by crossing Sherbet with a combination of OG Kush Breath and FPOG. This iteration is often characterized as indica-dominant, blending syrupy berry and tropical sweetness with the earthy, creamy funk typical of OGKB. Reported THC levels for this line generally range from the high teens to the mid-20s.
LIT Farms released a separate Shaved Ice, derived from a cross of Lemon Cherry Gelato and Sharpiez. This pedigree shifts the profile toward contemporary candy notes, emphasizing cherry, lemon, and cream with a sharper, gas-forward finish.
Across both versions, the experience is frequently described as starting with a euphoric, upbeat lift that transitions into a more pronounced physical relaxation. The Cannarado-associated cut is particularly noted for a heavy, sedative finish when consumed in larger quantities.
Plant characteristics
The flower is typically dense and heavily coated in trichomes, creating a frosted appearance that aligns with the strain's name.
