FPOG
FPOG is a hybrid cultivar originally released by Alien Genetics in 2006, recognized for its dense, colorful buds and a flavor profile reminiscent of sweet, fruity cereal.
About FPOG
FPOG, formerly known as Fruity Pebbles OG, was bred by the California-based Alien Genetics team in 2006. Its complex lineage stems from a Granddaddy Purple x Green Ribbon hybrid crossed with Tahoe Alien pollen (a cross of Tahoe OG and Alien Kush). Although intended as a limited release, the cultivar's popularity led to widespread cultivation by other growers. Consumers report a euphoric, creative lift that gradually transitions into deep relaxation. The flavor profile is characterized by notes of sweet berries and citrus, often described as reminiscent of nostalgic cereal.
Plant characteristics
The plant produces conical, densely packed buds. High levels of anthocyanins contribute to a striking appearance, featuring a contrast of purple, red, and green hues. Depending on the phenotype, the plant can grow tall and may require topping to manage its height.
