Sour Blue Diesel

Despite its name, Sour Blue Diesel is not a cross of Sour Diesel and Blue Dream. It is a house cross attributed to the Ohio-based cultivator Buckeye Relief, reportedly combining (Grapefruit x NYC Diesel) with (Cookies & Dream x Ghost OG).

The terpene profile is dominated by ocimene and terpinolene, which provide a foundation of sweet citrus, pine, and floral notes layered over a sour-diesel base. Myrcene and limonene contribute additional depth, shifting the aroma between zesty and earthy profiles. On the palate, the strain is bright and sour upon inhalation, finishing with a smooth citrus exhale.

Reported effects are primarily cerebral, described as clear, creative, and conducive to focus, while simultaneously providing enough physical relaxation to mitigate tension. It is noted for its versatility, functioning well for both productive tasks and outdoor activities.
