Sunset Cookies
Sunset Cookies is a hybrid strain with two distinct, documented lineages, each offering unique aromatic profiles and effects ranging from blissful euphoria to deep physical relaxation.
About Sunset Cookies
Sunset Cookies refers to at least two different genetic expressions. The first is a balanced hybrid resulting from a cross between Sunset Sherbet and GMO. This version is noted for a complex aromatic profile that blends the scent of fresh-baked cookies with bright citrus and berry notes. On the palate, it presents a mix of cherry, berry, and nutty sweetness, finished with a touch of sour citrus. Users often report a transition into a state of blissful relaxation.
A second, indica-forward lineage of Sunset Cookies was cultivated by Maryland-based Grow West. This iteration is a cross between a variant of GSC and Mandarin Sunset. This version is characterized by a flavor and aroma profile that leans into fruity, minty, and earthy notes, with many users reporting a strong sense of deep physical relaxation.
Plant characteristics
The lineage derived from Sunset Sherbet and GMO produces light green, spade-shaped buds accented by deep purple hues. The flowers are further distinguished by reddish-orange pistils and a coating of amber-colored trichomes.
