Cinex is a sativa-leaning hybrid originating from the Pacific Northwest, celebrated for its citrus-forward profile and functional, clear-headed effects.

About Cinex

Cinex, also known as Cin or Cenex, emerged as a clone-only staple in the Pacific Northwest before being stabilized for wider release by Elev8 Seeds. Its genetic foundation is a cross between Cinderella 99 and Vortex. The lineage is complex, drawing from a diverse pool of genetics including Jack Herer, Apollo 13, Space Queen, Romulan, and Northern Lights.

The flavor profile is dominated by citrus notes, specifically lemon zest and sweet orange, balanced by a piney bite and an earthy, skunky undertone. These aromas are driven by limonene and pinene, with caryophyllene providing a spicy undercurrent. Users typically describe the experience as a social, quick-hitting cerebral lift that promotes focus, creativity, and euphoria without inducing a heavy crash. The high is often noted for providing light body relaxation that remains functional.

Plant characteristics

The plant exhibits a classic sativa structure, characterized by lime-green, loosely stacked buds featuring swollen calyxes and wiry orange pistils. The flowers are heavily coated in frosty trichomes. During the flowering stage, which lasts between 50 and 60 days indoors, the plant develops dense, rounded, crystal-laden colas. It is a medium-sized plant that is generally considered easy to trim.
