Guava Gas
Guava Gas is a name applied to at least two distinct hybrid strains, each offering a different profile of tropical fruit and diesel-forward aromatics.
About Guava Gas
Guava Gas refers to multiple, unrelated genetic lineages. One version, associated with the California cultivator THC Design, is described as a pure indica cross of Zkittlez and Lemon Cherry Gelato. This iteration is characterized by a complex aromatic profile featuring notes of lavender, citrus, basil, tropical fruits, and clove, with a flavor profile that balances the creamy qualities of its Gelato ancestry with a distinct diesel finish.
A second, separate lineage is identified as an indica-dominant hybrid resulting from a cross between Papaya and Strawberry Guava. This version leans heavily into sweet, tropical fruit notes, specifically guava and berries, underscored by a diesel undertone. Users report that the flavor mirrors the aroma, presenting a blend of sweet fruit and gas.
Plant characteristics
The THC Design selection produces buds that are a mix of light and dark green, accented by amber-colored hairs and a dusting of trichomes. The Papaya and Strawberry Guava cross produces tightly formed, dense buds featuring light green leaves, thick orange hairs, and a heavy coating of white trichomes.
