Developed by Dutch breeder Karma Genetics, Headstash is an indica-dominant hybrid. It was created by crossing Biker Kush with a Pre16 cut of Headstash, a lineage that itself involves Girl Scout Cookies, Cherry Pie, and KarmaRado OG. The strain earned industry recognition by winning the Best Indica category at the 2015 Amsterdam Elite Cup.

The flavor profile is frequently compared to blueberry cheesecake, accented by a distinct petrol-like finish. This aromatic complexity is attributed to a terpene profile containing caryophyllene, myrcene, and humulene.
