Lemon Sorbet
Lemon Sorbet is a name shared by at least four distinct, unrelated cannabis lineages, resulting in significant variation in genetic background, aroma, and effect depending on the specific breeder or producer.
About Lemon Sorbet
The name Lemon Sorbet is applied to several genetically diverse strains, leading to significant variation in the final product. There are four primary, distinct origins for strains circulating under this name:
* Gabriel Cannabis: A cross of Lemon OG and Sherbet. Their pheno-hunt resulted in several selections, with #3 (LS3) becoming the most widely distributed. * Silent Seeds / World of Seeds: A cross of Lemon Tree and Larry OG, typically described as a 55/45 indica-leaning hybrid. * Verano: A cross of Chemdawg and Sunshine Daydream, marketed as a sativa-leaning hybrid primarily found in Midwestern markets. * In House Genetics: A cross of Black Lime OG and Dolato, positioned as a balanced hybrid.
Because these lineages share little genetic commonality, the sensory profile varies widely. While citrus is a recurring theme, the specific notes range from sour lemon and creamy citrus to earthy herbs, spice, diesel, and fuel. Some versions exhibit notes of cinnamon and pepper, while others lean into the funk associated with Chem genetics. Reported experiences generally begin with a euphoric, uplifting, and creative heady buzz, which often transitions into a calmer, body-focused relaxation that may lead to sleepiness.
Plant characteristics
The flower typically presents as medium-sized, conical buds. The coloration ranges from lime to jade green, occasionally featuring purple streaks, orange pistils, and a dense covering of trichomes.
