Stardust
Stardust is an indica-dominant hybrid known for its complex, often-debated lineage and a reported experience that balances deep physical relaxation with a euphoric, cerebral lift.
About Stardust
The most widely recognized version of Stardust was selected by the California and Vermont-based breeder Rebel Grown. Their documentation identifies the genetics as a complex cross of (Girl Scout Cookies x Sour Diesel Bx1 i x 2) x (5G's Purple F3) F2. However, the name Stardust is applied to several distinct cultivars, leading to significant confusion in the market. Other accounts suggest the strain is a combination of Key Lime Pie and Chemdog crossed with Northern Lights.
Beyond the Rebel Grown iteration, the name is used for entirely different genetics. Flash Seeds produced a version derived from Lowryder and an unknown parent. Helvetic Seeds offers a version that is reportedly a rebrand of Silver Pearl. Additionally, The Bakery Genetics claims a hybrid lineage resulting from a cross of Supa Star and Super Nova.
Regardless of the specific lineage, users typically describe the aroma as a blend of pepper, fruit, and pine. The flavor profile is generally reported as earthy and herbal, finishing with a sweet, fruity exhale. The reported effects are characterized by a potent, full-body sensation that eases muscle tension, paired with a euphoric mental state.
